Natural Ways To Become Pregnant Fast
Introduction: Getting pregnancy, as you think, is not as easy as 123. While some women are blessed (though others consider this a curse) to have a very active fertility system, you may not have that. And that’s when you need outside help. There are numerous methods that can help you get pregnant, but the best interventions are always the natural ones.
Difficulty: 3
Things You’ll Need: a man (partner), vitamins and supplements, healthy meals
Step 1. Find a partner. Of course, you can’t get pregnant alone, so make sure that you find a partner. Whether you decide to raise the baby together with your partner or not is all up to you. If you choose to simply get pregnant and raise your baby by yourself, your partner doesn’t necessarily have to be a boyfriend or a husband.
Step 2. Stop using birth control. If you’re on the pill or any other form of birth control, now is the time to stop it. Of course, there’s a huge chance that you won’t get pregnant right away once you stop using birth control pills (but you may!) since some birth control methods leave your body to “readjust” before going back to normal.
Women on injectable contraceptives (Depo – Povera) usually don’t become pregnant within a couple months of time. Remember that this speaks for a majority of women, but not all. You may or may not concieve right away. Couples who use barrier methods like the condom, however, find it quicker to concieve once they cease using their birth control method. This is because condoms don’t alter the body chemistry of the woman.
Step 3. Is Your Lifestyle Healthy? Take time to reasses your lifestyle (and your partner’s as well). For the body to become efficient in any manner (and that includes fertilization) , it has to be free of toxins and stress. A healthy lifestyle can be achieved by doing the following:
- Eat healthy. Foods rich in nutrients are the way to go. Organic foods are also better choices in comparison to ordinary produce because they are grown without the use of chemicals and pesticides that are linked to problems concerning fertility.
- Smoking should also be ceased. Nicotine from cigaretttes can have detrimental effects on the mucous of the cervix and can lower sperm count.
- Give up Your Coffee. Well, if you can’t stop drinking, then at least cut back on your coffee consumption. Too much coffee (200mg of caffeine or more, which is approximately 2 cups of coffee – don’t forget to count in your tea and soda intake as well) can increase your chances of miscarriage.
- Regular exercise keeps you ffit and healthy. It also prepares your body for pregnancy. Exercise helps regulate your sleeping patterns also.
- Sleep is another important factor. People who have adequate sleep have more leptin. Leptin is a hormone that plays a vital role in the fertility of a woman.
Step 4. Take Vitamins and Supplements. Now is the best time to start taking prenatal vitamins (Folic Acid). Take at least 400 mcg of folic acid now, and increase to 600 mcg once pregnant. Doing so plays a huge role in lowering the risk of your baby developing neural tube defects.
Aside from vitamins and minerals, herbs are also making waves as well. Take herbs to balance your hormones. Here are some examples of herbs that are helpful for fertility:
- Chamomile
- raspberry leaf
- saw palmetto
- saw palmetto
- licorice root.
Visit your health care provider first before taking in any supplement.
Step 5. Record Your Menstruation and Ovulation Time. Ovulation time is usually in the middle of the menstrual cycle, but you can determine yours by determining the length of your menstruation each month. If you menstruate regularly and starts every 28 days, then it is reasonable to assume that you ovulate around– days right after you start menstruating. This can vary among women, though depending on the regularity or irregularity of her menstrual cycle.
Step 6. Have sex (unprotected, of course) During the days leading towards your ovulation. Do this regularly.
- While this may not be scientifically proven, plenty of people find the missionary position quite helpful. This is because the missionary position (especially the version where a pillow is placed under a woman’s hips) places the cervix closer to the sperm. Try lying in bed after sex as well, becuase this gives the sperm more chance to reach the ovum.
- Relax. Some couples are too pressured and try hard enough to get pregnant that they eventually end up getting stressed out. Try to relax and keep the whole thing fun, and remember to keep the emotional intimacy there.
Step 7. Do a pregnancy check test once you miss your monthly period.
Step 8. If you don’t get pregnant, repeat the following steps over again.
Tips:
- Be consistent and persistent with your pregnancy efforts. Remember to live a healthy lifestyle and take supplements on a regular basis.
- Lighten the mood for sex. Remember to keep sex as a sensual thing, and not just as a chore. Lighten up and don’t feel too pressured when you and your partner have sex
- Consult your doctor before trying to get pregnant, before taking in vitamins or supplements for your pregnancy endeavors.
Warnings:
- Beware of pregnancy myths that abound. Read up before you start following any hearsay.
- Have yourself as well as your partner tested for any disease or illness before starting on your endeavors.
