Stress Management Training Guidelines To Choose From
Feeling stressed during pressuring or threatening situations is normal. It is in fact good as it can trigger our body’s coping mechanism (aptly called fight-or-flight) into action. While in this state our body prepares us by releasing vast amounts of adrenalin and pumping blood into the organs that are essentially needed in the attempt. This process in turn, makes us stronger, last longer, more efficient, think faster and concentrate harder. There’s a catch though; it depletes our energy faster leaving us feeling more tired than usual after the threat has passed and it can be compromised with prolonged exposure. Leaving numerous amounts of symptoms that can greatly affect mental and physical performance in its wake.
